This website is founded by Danish skiing enthusiast Troels Kjems.
Since the launch in 2012 he has written more than 200 articles about alpine skiing, skiing holidays and ski gear.
The articles are read by more than 220.000 danish skiers each winter season (figures last updated: february 2020).
More than 13.000 danes follow Facebook.com/skiferietips and 6.500+ skiers receive my regular digital newsletter.
During the Spring of 2021, we have added more people to the team. They all contribute with content and articles, but the philosophy is exactly the same as when the site launched in 2012.

When you are ready to book your next ski holiday, it’s offen difficult to find unbiased information about each ski resort and its accommodation offers.
According to the tour operators nearly all ski resorts have “very high snow reliability” and are “suitable for all levels of skiers”. All apartments and hotels are likewise always “centrally located” right next to both the city centre and the slopes.
We help you judge whether the tour operators are right or wrong.
We visit the most popular ski resorts and document my visits through articles, high quality pictures and videos.
We write the truth about each ski resorts and only recommend accommodation that is centrally located and of “above average” quality.
